The HELOS laser diffraction series provides reliable particle size distribution analysis for powders, granules, suspensions, emulsions, and sprays, with a size range from <0.1 µm to 8,750 µm.Sympatec's RODOS, introduced in the 1980s, enabled dry powder dispersion for fine powders. The R series of HELOS sensors offers enhanced precision and accuracy, featuring parameter-free Fraunhofer evaluation for submicron sizes, improved signal frequency for resolution, and advanced evaluation modes (Fraunhofer & Mie).

QICPIC | Reliable Size and Shape Analysis for Diverse Particle Systems

The QICPIC image analysis sensor offers size and shape analysis for particle systems ranging from <1 µm to 34,000 µm. It employs a pulsed light source with nanosecond illumination and a high-speed camera that captures up to 500 frames per second, ensuring clear imaging of even the fastest particles. This versatile sensor analyses powders, granules, fibres, suspensions, and emulsions, utilizing powerful algorithms to evaluate millions of particles quickly. The high-speed RODOS dispersion enables effective analysis of fine, dry powders down to 1.8 µm, ensuring excellent reproducibility and comparability of results. QICPIC is widely used in the pharmaceutical, chemical, food, and soil science industries.

NANOPHOX CS | Polarisation-Separated Backscatter PCCS for Precise Particle Analysis

NANOPHOX CS advances photon cross-correlation spectroscopy (PCCS) with Sympatec's innovative polarisation-separated backscattering technology. This dynamic light scattering instrument analyses particle sizes from <1 nm to 10,000 nm and measures precise distributions without multiple scattered light interferences. The PAQXOS software automatically optimises the measurement parameters, checks the measurability of the samples and provides feedback on the signal quality. With automatic adjustment of the laser intensity and precise positioning of the cuvette, the NANOPHOX CS offers versatile analyses for pharmaceutical emulsions, polymer suspensions, paints, inks and research on nanodispersions.

OPUS | Ultrasonic Extinction: Advanced Particle Analysis for Challenging Dispersions

Ultrasonic extinction (UE) offers a powerful solution for particle size distribution and concentration analysis in highly concentrated suspensions and emulsions, covering a range from below 0.1 µm to 3,000 µm.
