Our deliver methods:
Option 1️⃣ Face-to-face,
This is the most traditional method where our instructors will travel to your location and deliver our course live to your staff in your workplace.
Option 2️⃣ Live over Zoom, or Microsoft Teams.
PRU Medical staff will connect a designated person in the client organisation and request a list of the commonly used chemicals. Based on this list, a tailored course is developed to ensure relevance to the audience, incorporating the latest evidence-based research.
Dates will be agreed and shared, along with the Zoom or MS Teams access details. Each session accommodates up to 12 participants.
On the scheduled dates, PRU Medical staff will initiate the online session, welcoming attendees before delivering live training. The session includes facilitated discussions, demonstrations, real-life examples, interactive activities, quizzes, and anonymous polls to enhance learning.
To successfully complete the course, participants must demonstrate competence in all areas. A multiple-choice assessment is conducted at the end of the session, with a required pass mark of 40%. Upon passing, attendees receive an individual certificate valid for three years. Course evaluations are then completed.
Finally, registration details and course evaluations are sent to the client organisation’s designated person for their record-keeping.
Option 3️⃣ As an e-learning module 💥.
Our new Chemical First Aid at Work e-learning programme is available where organisations can purchase any number of user ID’s and give these to their employees. The employees would then simply log onto our e-learning platform and complete the e-learning course at a time of their own choosing.
At the end of the course, they would complete an online assessment before downloading their certificate which would be valid for 3 years.
This method of education is perfect for organisations who have a high turnover of staff and it means the organisation doesn’t need to get 12 people in the same room at the same time, so production lines can continue more easily. It also means all staff can do this training as part of their mandatory training package upon employment, and every 3 years thereafter as part of their Continuing Professional Development (CPD). The e-learning courses can also be tailor made to include the organisations commonly used chemicals.
Because our e-learning method doesn’t require a face-to-face teaching element the cost 💷 to the client organisation is greatly reduced, making this education accessible to all.👏
